A whole new revolution in urban farming, fresh produce can now be transported “living” to restaurants, cafés and residences in Malaysia where chefs and home cooks harvest them on the spot whenever they need it.

The ‘Farm2Fork’ technology by Future Vitaponics is the core idealisation for the creation of U Need Farm, which grows thousands of plants vertically on its 1,000 square feet plot in Puchong, Selangor, to help Malaysian urbanites live healthier, more sustainable lives.

Helping maintain healthy water, reduce maintenance and ensure high-quality produce is a sophisticated filtration system designed and manufactured in Kuala Lumpur by Waterco.

Aquabiome filtration

Designed for ponds and water gardens, Aquabiome provides mechanical and biological filtration in a single housing. Its ability to support concentrated populations of nitrifying bacteria – reliably and consistently – makes it especially suitable for high-density recirculation systems.

Hydrostorm pumps

A specially engineered impeller and diffuser design maximizes the hydraulic output of Hydrostorm pumps while minimizing turbulence. This shortens run times and reduces energy consumption, leading to lower operating costs.

The pump body is manufactured using Waterco’s proprietary plastic injection moulding that features a single piece strainer pot and volute for extra strength. A high-grade 316 stainless steel mechanical seal is incorporated for further corrosion resistance.

Soclear 150 UV Sterilizer

Able to destroy bacteria and virus in seconds, Soclear UV sterilizers use environmentally friendly ultraviolet technology to disinfect water. It’s safe, doesn’t produce unnatural by-products, is easy to operate and requires minimal maintenance.

MultiCyclone 16 Centrifugal Filter

Waterco’s award-winning MultiCyclone is a brilliant dual-filtration device based on centrifugal water filtration. It’s designed with no moving parts, and no filter media to clean or replace.

Aquabiome is hydraulically efficient filter design and balanced slotted laterals to maximize water flow and filtration.
